1. Introductions, apologies and substitutions
1.1 The Chair welcomed everyone to the meeting. Apologies were received from Angela Burns and Julie Morgan. There were no substitutes.
2. Scrutiny of Estyn's Annual Report 2011-2012
2.1 The Chair welcomed Ms Ann Keane, Chief Inspector of Education and Training in Wales; Simon Brown, Strategic Director; and Meilyr Rowlands, Strategic Director, to the meeting. Members questioned the witnesses.
Action point:
The Committee agreed to send the witnesses additional questions from Members, and the witnesses agreed to respond and provide additional information to the Committee.

3. Inquiry into Attendance and Behaviour - Evidence session
3.1 The Chair welcomed back Ms Ann Keane, Chief Inspector of Education and Training in Wales; Simon Brown, Strategic Director; and Meilyr Rowlands, Strategic Director, to the meeting. Members questioned the witnesses.
Action point:
The Committee agreed to send the witnesses additional questions from Members, and the witnesses agreed to respond and provide additional information to the Committee.
